About Chris Knight
Chris Knight is a Sydney stand-up comedian: by his own billing, Sydney's best and only gay dad comedian from Cronulla. He is the founder and host of Funny Buggers, the monthly queer comedy showcase at Palms on Oxford in Darlinghurst, where he has built one of the city's warmest and rowdiest queer rooms.
He co-headlined the Canberra Comedy Festival in 2025 with TransFat, a split show with Holly Hazlewood, and has performed at Qtopia Sydney's Gays and Gags Comedy Festival and the Sydney Fringe. He is a NSW Raw Comedy State Finalist and a Hot Water Roast Battle winner, and has been featured in Bear World Magazine.
His comedy is respectful, raw, raunchy and ridiculous: new fatherhood, IVF and surrogacy, rainbow families, and life in Sydney's bear community. He is the MardiGrass Best NewComer and is currently working on an hour-long special and a Funny Buggers podcast.
